The report provides strategies to ensure we build on Geelong’s strengths to develop high quality open spaces and recreational facilities in and around the city.

To improve healthy lifestyles the city needs to have healthy environments that encourage active transport, support recreational activities and connects us to the ecological benefits of green environments.

Over the next decade, the strategy will guide projects that respect, reflect and enhance Geelong’s unique character and make the most of public assets such as the iconic waterfront precinct.
