Laneway Action Plan

The recently completed $4 million Laneway Project has transformed the city’s laneways into an accessible network of unique spaces that are suitable for a broad range of commercial and community uses.

Featuring additional trees and plants, new public art, bespoke street furniture and improved lighting, the rapidly emerging precinct will play a key role nurturing Geelong’s distinctly urban culture.

Continued private development and investment in and around our laneways will ensure they provide the perfect backdrop for locals and visitors who want to socialise, dine, shop or simply explore.
